Lately, I am a life changer and that all started with making changes for myself.
As a stay at home mom, it is easy to fall into the self-criticizing mindset and constantly think of all the things I'm NOT getting done. I found myself thought looping, "Why is this so exhausting?" "I should be able to do more." "The house is never as clean as I want it to be." "Why don’t I want to play with my kids all the time?" "What’s wrong with me? Other moms can do it all, why can’t I?"
And then one day I discovered the power of thought work. What if this feeling of being worn down and beaten is just in my mind? What if I’m choosing to believe all of these self-defeating thoughts? I don’t need to live in shame just because I need a break. What if the best thing I could do for my boys right now is take a step back to refuel myself?
We live in a world full of movement, distraction and escape. We don’t take time just to sit and realize the beliefs that we have running through our heads. If we would slow down and take note of how we speak to ourselves, we would realize how abusive our own words can be.
I'm a former high school Spanish teacher turned stay at home mom who decided that I was ready to start doing something for me. I've always been interested in mental health and self-improvement so when I discovered life coaching, the whole world seemed to align.
I love people and helping them reach their fullest potential. When others don't believe in themselves, I believe for them! This work brings me some of the greatest joy and I can't wait to see where we can go together.
